For the last two weeks, I have had the amazing opportunity to immerse myself in work around Universal Design for Learnng by spending a week at Harvard, then visiting the National Centre for UDL at CAST, followed by some time with Dr Sharon Friesen and her doctoral students at the University of Calgary in Alberta.

The focus of my trip has been to investigate a framework to support us as teachers, principals and facilitators as we design learning opportunities that meet the variable needs of all learners in our classrooms and work places on a daily basis.

Below is the last of a series of videos that I have been blogging, but is probably the most informative as a springboard to further conversations in the VLN.

You can view the "UDL reflections video" with it's interactive transcript on YouTube if that is helpful.

Plus if you're interested in my other personal reflections from the trip you can view them at Passonable.

Useful UDL links to follow up:

And if you'd like to chat about UDL and look at this framework in more depth for your classroom or school, just send me a message through the VLN.
