  Fantastic statement.

  Would be an interesting statement to use as a debate for students in class.

  "That the education system is failing Maori and Pasifika students".

  Or a staff PD session - to check their cultural responsiveness to Maori and Pasifika students in their classrooms - to view things from the other side of the fence.

  I agree Manu, I would be interested to hear the responses the students themselves say in a debate. Any teachers/schools out there interested?
