Are your students legends?! Let them show you.

Here's a great opportunity for secondary students, exploring the idea of how to make safer journeys. The NZTA_Remix Competition gives students freedom to combine media in new ways to make a powerful impact on their audiences. They need to:

  1. To create an infographic, mashup, creative remix, or a literature remix (based on the works of Shakespeare) using content and data from NZTA websites and publications.
  2. The second part is to present or engage with students at your school with the entry you have made, and provide evidence of having undertaken this.

Start planning now, ready to enter from 1st September 2012.

If your students are planning to enter this competition, you'll find the following resources, 'Free to Mix', really useful:

Here's a great opportunity, organised by Wellington Loop/NZTA to find out more about the competition described in this thread, and explore what it means to 'mix and mash' digital media, with Helen Baxter from Mohawk Media.
