About me
I am a blended learning facilitator, employed by the University of Waikato, working on the BeL project in the Te Toi Tupu Consortium. I am based in Taupo and travel to schools all over central North Island to help them build their capacity for blended learning.
After 33 years in the secondary classroom, and a senior manager for about 13 years, what an exciting time to be in education! A new paradigm of learning! The New Zealand Curriculum has allowed teachers to make the changes to ensure students are well prepared for life in the future.
I enjoy finding new ways to use ICTs to enhance learning and am particularly interested in e-portfolios, flipped learning, inquiry learning, and building capacity for independent, lifelong professional development for all.
