HI Nathaniel can you deactivate my account please

  • Linda Chinna

Thanks a lot for giving me the privilege of being a part of this network discussion. I am a post graduate student at Mindlab studying Digital and Collaborative Learning in the Classroom. I work at St Pius X School in Titahi Bay and teach years 5/6. At present i am working on an assignment on teacher as inquiry. My year cohort of students have a huge range of learning needs and social and emotional issues as well. I am hoping our school moving towards BOYD and setting up google classroom will even the pathway for some of these students. Any ideas on how to keep these students engaged through digital tools and enhance their learning outcomes will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Linda

Thank you Nathaniel for your warm welcome:) Usually one does not know where to start when coming in to this virtual community. I work in a full primary school in Cannons Creek and am going through an exciting steep learning curve with 21st Century Learning. So I am looking forward to learning and becoming a part of this virtual learning community. Oh by the way thank you for the community suggestions will check them out! Thank you so much:) Naomi

    Kia Ora Nathaniel.
Thank you for your warm welcome to VLN. I will definitely take a look at the pages you have suggested. I work in a small school so I am often online looking for discussion groups and resources. I can already see the benefits of being a member of VLN.

    Blessings

    Crystal.

Thanks Nathaniel for helping me get set up on VLN.
I recognised you from the webinar I watched featuring Rose Hipkins on her new book, Key Competencies for the future. I'm currently looking into research around assessment of 21st century skills and found the webinar very insightful.
    Thanks,
    Ash

I meant members of the specific group...

Hello Nathan, We are working on developing our use of the VLN for our PB4L RP project, and I am a bit disconcerted that posts I have made in our Staff Room group have turned up on the front page of latest discussion. Does this mean that everybody can see them, or only members? That is the setting I thought I have for the Group. Is there a way of viewing as a member of the public?
    Thanks,
    Wendy

...hmmm also its taking forever and ever to load a pretty simple resource...?

    HI Nathaniel,
I am finding that it is taking ages and ages to add content to my page. I have been trying to set up a subpage and its taking ages, as it doesn't seem to want to complete the action. I have logged out and back in then tried again...nothing
